Having recently returned from SourceCon in Seattle, where she delivered a keynote presentation, we are pleased that Vanessa will be presenting at the APSO Conference 2019. Vanessa has more than 10 years’ experience in the Recruitment Industry, specializing in the area of IT Applications and Tech Sourcing. The South African Recruitment Industry is sitting on the cusp of major change. The candidate is King and whoever ‘holds’ the candidate will win the business. Good talent is scarcer than ever to find and we are fighting factors like emigration and a weakening Rand which are either driving people out of the country or to seek remote work from foreign companies to be paid in a stronger currency. The struggle to find scarce skills just got harder. As an industry, we need to start looking at new and innovative ways to source candidates or we are going to see agencies shutting their doors forever. How are you changing the way that you are sourcing candidates to keep up with the high demand for scarce skills?
Vanessa currently runs her own business as a global technical sourcing specialist and trainer and co-hosts South Africa’s longest running Twitter Chat, #JobAdviceSA
APSO are pleased to be able to bring the International keynote speaker to our shores!
